For Mableton calls we load torsion springs sized for standard 1980s-era steel sectional doors - the two-inch shaft, standard-drum setup that's common across houses built when this neighborhood went up. We carry galvanized lift cable, nylon and steel rollers, and both cable drums and end bearing plates, since a snapped cable often takes a drum or bearing with it on a door this age.
On the opener side, we carry chain-drive and belt-drive replacement units, wall controls, and safety sensor pairs, since a dead reversal sensor is one of the more common calls once an opener passes the thirty-year mark. We stock 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch cable both, along with weld-on and bolt-on drum brackets, because torsion hardware from this era wasn't always installed to a single standard.
What we don't carry stocked is custom wood-panel replacement stock - original doors on a handful of older Mableton lots may need a special-order panel, and that's a scheduled job, not a same-visit emergency fix. We'll tell you on the spot if that's what you're looking at.
